Contemplative Network, Inc. is an interfaith, non-profit organization. We welcome everyone, no matter their religious affiliation. If someone is a "none" or searching for spiritual guidance or floundering on a sea of confusion and uncertainty, our door and our hearts are open. All of us associated with CN are making our individual spiritual pilgrimage. We believe God dwells within everyone. We invite you to join our quest to find and know God without words or dogma. Let’s walk together in silence, in community, in love.
Contemplative Network recognizes the impact of prayer on healing. We support research studying its impacts on quality of life for several chronic diseases and in lessening the fear of death. We actively support interfaith dialogue on our board and through attendance and presentations at retreats and scientific, medical, and theological meetings and conferences.
"Be still and know that I am God."
Psalm 46:10
WHAT IS CONTEMPLATIVE PRAYER?
Many believe prayer is thoughts and feelings expressed in words. This is one expression. In the Abrahamic faith traditions, Contemplative Prayer is another. In Judaism it is Kabbalah. Christianity calls it Mysticism. In Islam, it is Sufism. Other faith traditions and spiritual philosophies have their particular practice. We teach an interfaith form of Centering Prayer to open ourselves to God’s gift of Contemplative Prayer. This silent form of prayer is the opening of mind and heart, our whole being, to the Divine Healer beyond thoughts, words, and emotions. We are saying we would rather be with You, God, than with our own thoughts. Through grace, we open our awareness to God whom we know is closer than breathing, closer than thinking, closer than choosing, closer than consciousness.

Our goal is to show those leaving their faith and the clergy, scientists, and medical professionals serving them, that current faith and science reinforce.
Support Our Ministry
We appreciate your generosity. 100% of your donations are used for interfaith: teaching of centering prayer, conducting medical research on its improvements to quality of life and healing effects, and for establishing ministries based on that research.
Most faiths have contemplative traditions. Contemplative Network looks to a future of interfaith contemplative prayer practice that recognizes the spiritual importance of silence in healing, and is actively pursuing interfaith dialogue at the board level, in attendance at conferences, and in pursuit of research.
